Ana Inés Langer

Ana Ines Langer earned her BA in Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires and then her MA and PhD in Media & Communication at the London School of Economics. She teaches Political Science at the University of Glasgow, where she directed the MSc program in Political Communication for eight years. Her research agenda focuses on the role of media in democracy from a comparative perspective but with a focus on the United Kingdom. She is the author of The Personalization of Politics in the UK: Mediated leadership from Attlee to Cameron (MU Press, 2011), as well as numerous articles in refereed journals.
