Registration for the 6th Annual MESO Congress is now open

The conference will take place on Wednesday the 11th, Thursday the 12th and Friday the 13th of November, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., through Zoom.

In this edition, we will have the presence of leading researchers from institutions in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, the Netherlands, France, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

In addition, the conference will have  two keynote speakers: Homero Gil de Zúñiga (Pennsylvania State University, United States, and University of Salamanca, Spain) will present “The Perception of “News Find Me”: Theory and Effects.”; and Sallie Hughes (University of Miami, United States): “Coping with work stress in journalism: professional identities and promotion as resources.”

Finally, the conference will offer a special session “Science journalism in times of the Coronavirus”, which will include the participation of Federico Kukso (science journalist, member of the board of directors of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) and member of the Red Argentina of Scientific Journalism) and Valeria Roman (science journalist, member of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) and co-founder of the Argentine Network of Scientific Journalism), and It will be moderated by Melina Furman (University of San Andrés, Argentina).
