The coronavirus pandemic and the isolation measures taken in many countries revealed the inequalities that exist in schools. In Argentina, one in five elementary school students does not have Internet access at home, and almost a quarter do not have a computer. In Mexico, only 40 percent of households have access to a PC. In the United States, seven million elementary and secondary school students do not have Internet access at home.
